About the position

Assistant Dentist is required for Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Saturday mornings for a busy general family practice, located at the beautiful Mount Dandenong Region (approximately one hour from the CBD). The position is suitable for a dentist with at least 1 year's experience and who possess excellent communication skills with the ability to develop a good rapport with patients. Commence asap. Remuneration 40% of (gross less lab fees).

The practice has two surgeries, two principal owner dentists and an employee dentist currently working there.

Monbulk is located 40 km east from Melbourne's central business district.
Monbulk is a thriving township with many diversified farms growing fruit, nursery plants and a substantial bulb and cut-flower industry for national and international markets. There are four schools, Monbulk Primary School, St Paul’s Catholic Primary School, Monbulk Secondary College and Mountain District Christian School.

Monbulk is well serviced by the Main Street retail shopping strip, all trades and professional services with many cafes and restaurants which are very popular with local, national and international tourists.
The area was well known for being the site of Monbulk Preserving Company, a jam factory, where Monbulk Jam was produced from locally grown fruit.
